Thankful Tree

This Thanksgiving season I have tried to really focus on “being thankful.” At first, I asked my preschooler if he knew what it meant to be thankful. His response was “I say thank you every day mama.” Obviously we need some work in the giving thanks department. I told the kids everything I was thankful for, then I asked them what they loved most in the world and couldn’t live without. Thankfully, they said mommy and daddy. I like the idea of ¬†“thankful tree.”

I found my vase and flowers at Marshalls all for under $20. I bought these¬†cute tags off of Amazon and had them ship free (2-day shipping). I then sat down with the kids and gave them each 8 cards. I absolutely loved their responses… our middle exclaimed she was thankful for caterpillars!!

This was a great family activity for the season.
